Boston should easily handle a Priceless Habs team.
That being said, without Rask that will prove to be more difficult.
Had a dream Khudobin got scored on twice in the first 5 minutes, so Rask said Frank the injury and went in. I was David Backes. But I digress...

Hopefully Spooner is back in and they sit one of the bottom liners. Really hope it is Hayes. Minus 4 in 4 games. I know Belesky is too, but he is just a better player overall.

its like the traded Smith because he's soft, so instead they get a bigger, dumber, softer and less skilled version of the same player.

Hayes should sit.

Yeah, Price is back in, and it looks like Khudobin is starting tonight for the B's.

This is getting kind of ridiculous... any time they play Montreal (and especially when they play in Montreal) Tuukka sits. You can't hide your $7m starting goaltender every time you play your biggest rival... they're just playing into his weakness of having a fear of big games. You gotta get over it at some point, and you're not going to do it sitting on the bench.

I understand he might have tweaked his leg, so if it's a normal rest thing for him, then whatever... but next time against MTL he better be in the lineup.

for $7m a year I'd gladly take the sunburn from the goal light.

(frank) Rask anyway.
Give the female genitalia the easy starts so his perceived value comes close to his real value......that way we can probably get away from him and that contract this season.

Rask is a good goalie but for some reason he is not at his best against MTL

Thomas was the same way for years too. Bryon Dafoe was the absolute worst.

He's got a knee or hip thing going on, you could see it in a couple of games, when he went down he was slow to get up.
at least its not "the flu"

Looks to me like he has groin issues, stemming from the World Cup no doubt. I'm unreasonable at this point though. I don't care about what ails him.
I'd like him, and that albatross of a contract off of the books ASAP.

Ty, just saw this, Congrats to you, I'm not a fan of the station (actually switched over to 98.5 because WEEI always refused to talk Hockey and when they did it was degrading) However, I will at the very least follow your coverage.

what a bunch of pussies.

Management will have to make a decision between Spooner and Krejci at some point this year. With Spooner's contract coming up there is no way they can afford to pay both.

I'd trade both. One for a winger and one for a Dman and put Backes at #2 C. lol

Ty, if you aren't going to be writing consistently, you maybe should give the spot to someone who will?
